What Eliy does

Eliy finds customers for people who earn on their own, and for businesses that already have a product. You tell Eliy what you do; she works out who needs it and what to charge, and with your yes makes a page people can pay, book or ask on. She then looks for people asking for what you do, sends each one to the chat app you chose with a message ready for you to send, answers routine customer questions in your name from what you have told her, collects payments from your customers, and sends your money to the account you choose when you ask.

Customers Eliy finds for you

Eliy looks only at what people have posted publicly, such as posts in public groups and forums. She tells you who they are, what they asked for and why they may be a fit, and writes a first message. You decide whether to contact them, and you send it yourself.

• Eliy cannot promise that anyone will reply or buy.
• Contact people only about what they asked for, be honest, and stop if they ask you to. Follow the rules of the platform where you reply.
• The first 5 customers Eliy finds for you are free. After that, finding more is part of a paid plan.

Where Eliy sends you customers

You choose where Eliy sends you customers and updates: WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger or email. In a chat app, Eliy writes only after you have written to her there first, with the message the app prepared for you; by email, only after you have verified your address. She uses it to send you customers, tell you when someone paid or needs you, and remind you before a pass runs out. Chat apps limit when a business may write, so some messages may wait until you next write to Eliy. You can stop them at any time in Customers.

When someone tags Eliy in public

On X, Instagram and Facebook, people can tag Eliy. When someone asks for a service, Eliy may reply in public recommending a business on Eliy that fits, which can be yours, and pass them to you as a customer. When someone says what they sell, Eliy may reply with what she does and a link to join.

Your account

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. Give accurate details, keep your password secure and use Eliy only for lawful purposes. You are responsible for everything done through your account, including what Eliy does for you within the permissions you set.

What Eliy says and does for you

Eliy acts only on what you told her and what you approved. She says only what is on your record, never agrees a price you did not agree, never spends on your behalf without your yes, and hands anything unusual to you with a reason. You can change what she may do on her own at any time in Your business, take over any conversation, and give it back.

• You remain the seller. You are responsible for what you offer, for delivering it as described, and for honouring bookings.
• Eliy uses artificial intelligence. Her replies and proposals can be wrong or incomplete. Read them, and correct your record when something changes.
• Eliy may decline to say something you asked her to say if it would be untrue or unlawful.

Your customers

Your customers buy from you. Eliy collects their payment on your behalf and gives them a receipt and confirmation that names you. You must deliver what they paid for as described, answer them honestly, and resolve problems in good faith. If you do not deliver, Eliy may refund the customer and take the amount from your balance.

• Customer details are shared with you only so you can serve them. Use them for that, and nothing else.
• When a customer replies to an email Eliy sent for you, it reaches you directly.

Your money

Customer payments are taken by card through Eliy’s payment provider into Eliy’s account. Your share is credited to your balance in Eliy and becomes available three days after each payment, which allows for settlement and refunds. You ask for your money whenever you like, to the account you have given, and Eliy’s team sends it by transfer, usually within two working days. Your bank may take a day or two more and may charge its own fee.

• Withdrawals have a small minimum per currency so that transfer fees do not eat the money.
• A refund or chargeback is taken from your balance, and Eliy may hold funds while a dispute or suspected fraud is looked into.
• Your balance is a record of what Eliy owes you. It is not a bank account and earns no interest.
• If your account is closed, whatever you are owed is still sent to you.
• Where Eliy converts money between currencies to send it, the rate and any conversion cost are shown before you confirm.

What Eliy costs

When your customers pay you through Eliy, Eliy keeps a 1.5% processing fee and the rest is yours. The first 5 customers Eliy finds for you are free. After that, you choose a plan to keep getting customers: Starter, 2 customers a day, $10 a month; Growth, 5 a day, $25 a month; or Pro, up to 10 a day, $50 a month, on a card. In Nigeria the same plans are ₦10,000, ₦25,000 and ₦50,000 for 30 days, by card or bank transfer. You see the prices for where you are. Domains you choose to buy through Eliy are charged separately, at the price shown before you buy.

• A monthly card plan renews each month until you cancel it. Cancel at any time; it stays active until the end of the month you paid for.
• A 30-day pass ends by itself. Eliy reminds you a few days before, and paying again adds 30 days.
• Without a plan, Eliy keeps your page live and may still tell you that someone is waiting, but does not show you who until you continue.
• Payments for a month or pass already started are not refunded, except where the law requires it.

Your record, your content, your accounts

You own what you tell Eliy, the photographs and files you give her, and what you sell. You give Eliy permission to use them to provide the service: to write your link, to answer your customers, and to bring people to you. If you connect a social account, Eliy reads your profile, follower count and posts to understand your business and to use your own photographs and words. Eliy never posts to your accounts without your yes.

• Only use material you have the right to use.
• Disconnect an account at any time from Socials.

Domains bought through Eliy

You can buy a web address (domain) inside Eliy. Eliy registers it for you through our registrar partner, Cloudflare, and you are the legal owner. It is registered in your name using the contact details you provide, and those details must be accurate; inaccurate details can lead to a domain being suspended.

The price shown before you pay includes the registration and Eliy’s service fee. You pay for one year at a time.

• Once a domain is registered it cannot be cancelled or refunded, because registries do not return registration fees.
• If a domain cannot be registered after you pay, you receive a full refund automatically.
• Domains do not renew automatically. Before your domain expires, Eliy emails you a renewal link, and the price is shown before you pay.
• If a renewal is not paid, the domain expires and may become available to others. Your Eliy address keeps working.
• You can ask Eliy support to transfer your domain to another provider, subject to the registry’s rules.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Eliy available and reliable, but uninterrupted access is not guaranteed. We may update features or these terms when the service changes, and will tell you about material changes in a reasonable way, including changes to the fee.

Suspension and ending use

We may restrict or end access when needed to protect people, the service, our payment provider’s rules or the law. You may stop using Eliy at any time and can delete your account from Account settings. Money you are owed is sent to you either way.

Responsibility

Eliy is provided with reasonable care. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect losses, lost opportunities, or for what you sell and how you deliver it. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
